(h)oven- ieren
Located at the garden plots, the oven is built in a likewise try and error method used during gardening. The family of three elements are built linear, whereby afterwards the construction process is visible since it ameliorates with each element. The spaces in between the elements, foresee an open flow during workshops and the festival. First, the small gardening table will be finished from foundation till polished concrete tiles as tabletop. These tiles function as roof for the rammed earth table volume. Secondly, the large cooking table is built with knowledge gained from the first table. Pizza dough can be rolled out directly on the smooth tiles. Last, the negative of the oven determines its shape. The massive volume is a monument dedicated to earth in the vegetables garden. The "strange" element in contrast to the wild and organic environment invites to come closer. Around convivial sitting places are created by the stone borders of the garden plots. Vegetation of tall wildflowers create an intimate enclosed feeling in the mowed grass picnic patches.
